Rabbi David Lazar has lived in Israel for most of his adult life and has played an active role in the development of the Masorti/|Conservative Movement there. He is the founding director of RIKMA: Spiritual Community Leadership Training a cross denominational program for rabbis and other communal professionals in Israel. David has served spiritual communities in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Stockholm and Budapest. He has a particular passion for liturgical development, LGBTQ rights and interfaith dialogue.
